A 1-day course that provides an overview of the health and physical hazards associated with the use of chemicals. Topics include MSDS interpretation, labeling requirements, record keeping, and training in minimizing the risk of exposure to hazardous materials.
Hazardous Materials Awareness
A 1-day course intended for individuals involved in the transportation of hazardous materials. Subjects include hazard recognition & identification, toxicology, emergency response plans, and risk assessment.
Confined Space Program
A 1-day course designed to support personnel/companies, which require specialized training for confined space projects. This course includes regulatory compliance, general overview of confined space work, permitting requirements, special equipment usage, and how to implement a confined space program in the workplace.
A 4-hour course designed with the facilities maintenance or custodial staff for apartment complexes, commercial buildings, and schools in mind. This class is designed as an introduction to microbial issues. The topics covered in this class are a general overview of health effects of exposure to fungal spores, rules and regulations, identification of problem areas, how to address problems within a building, and how to keep tenants from panicking.
This class is designed to prepare an individual to properly remove affected building materials, correctly clean an affected area, and prepare surfaces prior to replacement of building materials. This class is predominantly hands on instruction and is scheduled for sixteen (16) hours.
The supervisor course is a 3-day course designed to train individuals to perform and supervise microbial remediation activities. The focus of this course is on health effects and how to keep your workers and owner/occupants protected, how to properly prepare a site for remediation, and how to correctly remediate microbial contamination from a variety of substrates.
